Kansas Association for the Deaf (KAD) is a non-profit
consumer advocacy organization which strives to promote
the quality of life for Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals
residents of Kansas. It is supported by membership dues
and contributions which we reach out to help and work
with deaf people, hearing parents and guardians with deaf
children, hearing children of deaf adults, and their friends
and supporters.
Here is a list of first members
when KAD was just starting. Join us and become a
part of the history.
KAD is affiliated with the National Assoication of the
Deaf (NAD).
Membership benefits include the following:
- ~ subscription to KAD Newsletter by email or snailmail.
- ~ Bi annual conference registration fee
- ~ Social and networking opportunities and involvement.
- ~ Better quality of life in Kansas as promoted by the
KAD objectives.
