KAD
offers youth their own organization called Jr. KAD, which
is an affiliate of Jr.NAD (Junior National Association of
the Deaf). KAD encourages as many youths to get involved and
to meet with other Deaf youths who share common goals and
dreams.
KAD
sponsors youths to go to the Youth Leadership Camp (YLC) which
is under the National Association of the Deaf (NAD) each summer.
It's a two month long camp. KAD also sponsors youths to participate
the Close-Up in Washington D.C. which is a chance to meet
with politicians there and to become a better leader.
