Miss Deaf Kansas Ambassador hosted the
Miss Deaf Teen Kansas Pageant on Thursday, April 7th 2011
at Murphy Auditorium at Kansas School for the Deaf (KSD).
Angela Arnold is honored to be a chairperson for the pageant
this year. The theme for the pageant is called "I am
not afraid of storms, for I am learning to sail my ship."
There were six (6) teen girls: Nona McCain, Kristie Roney,
Renate Rose, Kylie Garcia, Maleah New, and Michelle Plummer.
Angela taught them how the pageant program run such as
a presentation, a short talent show, wear the beautiful
dresses, gaining their leaderships, knowledges, and abilities.
The experience for these six (6) teen girls are valuable
as they may participate in the Miss Deaf Kansas Ambassador
in the future.

Lily Heller, Miss Deaf Teen Kansas of 2010-2011 has relinquish the crown to Renate Rose, the new Miss Deaf Teen Kansas of 2011-2012.
