Jessica Redden, 19 years old Miss Deaf Kansas, hails from Wichita, Kansas. Jessica is a freshman student at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, KS. Her major is in Veterinarian.

Before she became Miss Deaf Kansas, she volunteered for the Lord's Diner or various organizations and Special Olympics; which she was involved for 10 years with her brother.

As an Ambassador for the Kansas Association of the Deaf, Jessica has the following responsibilities:

• Honoring her role as Miss Deaf Kansas

• Representing the Deaf community state-wide

• Promoting the Kansas Association of the Deaf through her appearances in various events.
